Emergency Operations Center De-Activated

Recovery and clean up is underway at this time and upcoming dates and times will be announced for emergency disaster insurance meetings which will take place in the Matapeake area. The Emergency Operations Center was scaled back to normal operations at 5pm.

An official donation site has been set up for victims of the Kent Island Tornado event which occurred on July 24th 2017. The collection site will located at the Kent Island United Methodist Church, 2739 Cox Neck Road. Chester, Maryland 21619. They will accept any donations with the EXCEPTION of clothing and water.

Any future updates will be posted on the Queen Anne's County Department of Emergency Services social media and on the County website www.qac.org
