QAC Critical Area Overlay Maps
The Queen Anne’s County Department of Planning & Zoning recommends that all applications filed after June 30, 2017 for subdivisions, site plans and development applications to the Board of Appeals for Conditional Use begin using the New Critical Area Overlay Maps. The QAC new Critical Area Overlay Maps were conditionally approved in March 2017 by the Queen Anne’s County Board of Commissioners. The Critical Area Overlay Maps are found at: http://webmaps.esrgc.org/cbca/Desktop/Map.
It is anticipated that the new Critical Area Overlay maps for Queen Anne’s County will be adopted by the Critical Area Commission and shall be required beginning November 1, 2017. Additionally, ALL building permit applications using the current critical area overlay map delineation will need to have a complete application to the QAC Permit Office by November 1, 2019. Building permit applications submitted after this time will be subject to the NEW Critical Area Overlay Maps.
