County Administrator Gregg Todd's Wrap Up of the Jan. 8th Commissioners' Meeting


Gregg Todd 2019 Websize SquareFolks,Commissioner’s meeting began on Tuesday at 5:00 with a personnel closed session, followed by a admin session to appoint positions on a number of boards and commissions. In the personnel closed session, the commissioners discussed naming Lynda Thomas as Deputy Executive Assistant to the Commissioners, which they voted on favorably in open session. Congrats to Lynda!

In the administrative session, they approved by consensus and during the open meeting voted on the following members to County boards and commissions:

4. Slippery Hill Dev Request Additional Water & Sewer – an additional 4,745 gallons per day of water and sewer allocation to Green Street Housing’s Slippery Hill mixed use complex at a current cost of $258,455 for which a 10% refundable deposit will be required within 30 calendar days – approved

7. Workforce Investment Board Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act – requires signatures – approved 
8. Hospice request to waive impact fee of $2,484.25 for Compass Regional Hospice – approved 
9. Public Hearing on proposed changes to the Alcoholic and Beverages Article – approved to schedule a public hearing
