History, Heritage and Community-Black History Month Celebration 2018

Saturday, February 17, 2018

The Kennard Alumni Association will present an evening celebrating "History, Heritage and Community" at the "Newly Restored" Kennard High School Cultural Heritage Center. Come and experience this walk through local African American History. This event will honor "Local Heroes" that became "Pioneers" in education, occupation, and community service. The program will also recognize local youth that have excelled in their schools and communities. This event is a "must see and hear" for all family members! The Kennard African American History Museum will be open with some "Special Displays" for this program. All proceeds benefit "The Kennard Alumni Scholarship Fund", supporting deserving seniors of Queen Anne's County.
